Grant Chugg Plumbing Pty Ltd was incorporated in 2004, after operating as a family trust for 12 years prior to that date.

A number of projects at Tasmanian Government and non-government schools have been undertaken over the past 5 years and we were involved in a number of BER projects more recently. We are a very workplace health & safety focused company and have a dedicated staff member looking after this area. We are very mindful of the needs of our schools, particularly the safe and comfortable environment required by the students and teachers.

There are now five separate divisions within the company with their own management structure and dedicated staff.

Plumbing remains a major focus with sixteen employees working directly in this area including management.

The company currently employs around 30 people directly with many more subcontractors providing the opportunity to take on both large and small projects.

The broad range of business undertaken by the company includes a considerable number of new commercial projects in the $200k to $1.5m range, right down to minor roof and plumbing maintenance jobs which might only be half an hour’s work.

Systems have been developed to deal with a high volume of work in this area in an efficient and effective manner. We hold the highest compliance rating for maintenance work for the Tasmanian Housing Department in Northern Tasmania with the lowest callback rating.
